Our Vision
There are so many different themes and varieties when it comes to wedding flowers and we accommodate all of them! Adora Flora welcomes any and every new bride and their particular wedding flower vision. We strive to help build and refine this vision as we work together to create the most beautiful flower arrangements for your big day.
How did Adora Flora come to be?
I discovered my love for flowers when I took my first job at a local flower shop in Ottawa. When I accepted the position, I had no idea it would launch me into a dream and goal of operating my own flower business. I took my time and took the proper courses to qualify me to become a knowledgeable florist, and dove head first into this journey.
This married well with my lifelong desire to be self-employed and do something I know I can do and be happy with. When I pinpointed my interest in specifically wedding flowers (through a second job in the floral field), I decided to build my own portfolio. I posted an ad online and offered my services as a new wedding florist. Within one year I had acquired a small portfolio by completing three weddings in one summer, and I have kept growing ever since.
My love for this type of work allows me to provide the best service custom to each bride, and I love every single moment of it! I strive for excellence and will continue to grow with each new bride.
How Do We Begin?
Wedding Consultation
As Adora Flora is a home-based business, we accommodate each bride's location when it comes to meetings. We typically like to meet in person in order to put a face to the name since we will be working closely together until your wedding day. A local coffee shop is usually a great place to meet as we can converse over a drink and get to know each other. Should this not be convenient for you, a phone call or video call, along with email or text messaging work just as well! We are flexible with communication.
Wedding Agreement
If and when you are satisfied with the Wedding Flower Proposal we submit to you and decide to proceed with Adora Flora for your wedding flowers, we can sign the Wedding Flower Agreement and work together until your big day.
